Everybody's Talking About Jamie tickets
A brand new musical based on the BBC Three documentary "Jamie: Drag Queen at 16" following real-life teenager Jamie Campbell, who wants to be a drag queen.
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, a fearless, funny, and fabulous new musical sensation with catchy songs by Dan Gillespie Sells (lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling) and writer Tom MacRae, comes to the Apollo Theatre.
At sixteen years old, Jamie New lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Though Jamie doesn’t quite fit in and is terrified about the future, he knows one thing: Jamie is going to be a sensation.
Supported by friends and a brilliant, loving mum, Jamie struggles past prejudice and bullies to step out of the darkness and into the spotlight. The Observer calls this brand-new musical: “touching, funny, joyous.”

The view is partially restricted as advised on the website. The very far left part of the stage is not visible, but that did not ruin the show overall. Good value for money!
Amazing show !!! I would recommend it to anyone and I have !! I can’t wait to go and see it again !!!
Didn't know too much about the show before we went. Thoroughly enjoyed it. A real feel good show with some poignant moments and an important message. Would definitely recommend it. Probably not suitable for under 10s.
Thoroughly enjoyed it! Layton Williams as Jamie is AMAZING! He is sooooo talented! Fantastic show & highly recommend it
Such a spirited and fun show with a balance between glitz and glitter, and sensitivity towards a serious theme. My only criticism might be the quality of sound. At times, it was difficult to hear the words spoken; acoustics were quite strange.
Wonderfully energetic, emotional & enlightening. An insight into a young mans journey. Tha cast were truly fantastic. Hugely talented. Woukd happily see the show again.
Very entertaining show, excellent music
This is a must see show. Singing dancing and acting all very good and very funny.
This is the fourth time I have seen this but the first time with this cast. It has come a long way since I first it in Sheffield. Yes the story line is pretty predictable but this is negated with excellent performances and songs with He's my boy being the standout song
Fantastic show you wont be disappointef
Great production. Singing, dancing, acting All top drawer Current in this world of chaos! Acceptance the key for all mankind Well done to all Barry & Chris from Stockport
It was amazing
What a show it’s so current, it made laugh & cry and feel lots of emotions! I wanted to crawl underneath the seats & watch it all over again.
Wasn't sure what to expect but this was amazing! Based on a true story portraying Jamie's dream to become a drag artist the show touches every emotion. The cast were fantastic and the music performed perfectly. A real moral in the story which had us talking about it on the journey home. Would highly recommend this show.
it is indeed a new Westend Musical that portrayed the diversity and equality to the audience. A celebration of the LGBT 🏳️🌈 for all ages. Brilliant and Recommended. 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing feel good show. Didn't know what to expect but was very pleased we went to see it. 2 rows from the front so didn't have full view of stage. Would sit further back next time. FANTASTIC AND FUNNY
Bloody brilliant! All the cast were superb- especially loved Jamie’s mum, preeeti, Shane Ritchie and of course the brilliant Layton- knew he would be superb having seen him before in hairspray. What a total star and such a gorgeous voice. Made me laugh and cry!
Full of energy, emotional, and not fallen the trap of being cheesy. Great performances.
Although perhaps not one of the more well known musicals, we thoroughly enjoyed Jamie. All of the songs were unknown but some catchy fast numbers and some emotional slower numbers. The cast were amazing and looked like they thoroughly enjoy themselves performing this show.
What a fantastic show, an emotional rollercoaster very talented performance by the whole cast I would highly recommend it.
Fabulous acting, singing and hilariously funny. Great for teens upwards, this is the best musical I’ve seen in a long time. Can’t wait to see it again!
Tremendous cast (John McCrea - you are a star), perfect choreography, pumping tunes, a gloriously Jonathan Harvey-esque script, and a story to lift the soul. I laughed, cried and left the theatre shaking a bit. What a show!
Everyone’s talking about Jamie! Especially us today, as we attended last nights performance for the first time at the Apollo theatre Shaftesbury lane London, many people in the audience were saying they had seen it once before and came back again! We could see why, as the performance was outstanding, sad, uplifting, emotional, and great! The cast played an exceptional part and the additions of sinita from Corrie, the guy from Catherine Tate, Michelle visage were a huge bonus, all performed excellent! Totally loved it and with Shane Ritchie joining the cast at the end of the month this can only get bigger better and stronger! Now Hollywood needs to be calling as a film version would be fantastic! Loved it 10/10. (Jan 2019)
After months of waiting after hearing the cast on Radio 2, I wasn't disappointed this stage show was everything and more. The story, cast, stage everything was amazing. A brilliant show.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show - would definitely recommend. All are superb in their roles, especially John McCrea as Jamie. Creative use of the stage with the props, and good to see a diverse and predominantly young cast getting their chance on stage in the West End.
Excellent show! Despite the fact I had some restricted viewing in the grand circle the preformance was outstanding, every character was fully committed and brought tears of joy and laughter to my evening. I would love to see it again :)
Absolutely brilliant, perfectly executed and outstanding performance by all. Laughed, cried and had a warm fuzzy feeling at the end. Singing excellent
Loved it. Love the sentiments, love the songs, loved the acting, the singing and the dancing. Seen it twice in the space of 2 weeks. Second time even better. So glad to have seen John McCrea.
One of the best shows I’ve seen !!! Tells the story brilliantly with humour sadness sensitivity and believability. Brilliant songs singers and dancers that portray the emotions perfectly. Can’t wait to see Layton Williams interruptation of Jamie’s character, he has so much to live up to !!!
One of the best shows on the west end
Absolutely stunning performance from the cast of 'Everybody's talking about Jamie'. We were taking on a rollercoaster of emotions; at one point I couldn't stop laughing and the next moment I had tears streaming down my face! 100% would recommend this show to everyone!
Everyone should be, 'talking about Jamie' as this show draws on themes of acceptance that are common to all. I took my two teenage daughters to see the production and we were all really absorbed by the story, and entertained by the humour. Somehow we could all relate it to our own, different but poignantly universal struggle with growing up and self knowledge. A romp that is totally set in realism...
Wonderful. Talented cast, especially Jamie, his mum and best friend. Wonderful dancing, songs and voices. Very moving.
Great show, I brought the tickets for my wife, who really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, Would recommend this show to everyone
Brought the tickets for a Christmas present so glad I did was a fantastic show and I would 100% go watch again.. Brilliant
A fantastic lovely show with great songs, high energy and an enthusiastic cast. I particularly enjoyed the physical theatre dance. Second half was q emotional and I cried my eyes out at Jamie and his Mum song - very moving.
Touching, moving and fabulous A musical dealing with issues of our time , it is masterly and executed with zeal and passion.
This show is fantastic! It takes you on an amazing journey. It is action packed from the start. The singing is superb. Some songs are very emotional, so bring tissues. The lead young man is brilliant and captivating. The sparkling costumes are awesome. Please go and see it. I have seen it twice and would definitely go again!
I’ve seen this twice at the theatre and once at a cinema screening and it is so fantastic! Emotional and uplifting. Amazing performances from the cast and terrific music. Totally, totally recommend. I hope to go and see it again!
The show was an absolute triumph, the feel-good nature of the musical left myself and I’m sure every other audience member brimming with joyfulness. Despite not knowing any of the cast I am so proud of them all (weird right.) furthermore the support the show offers for the LGBT community is huge, and I am sure the musical will be sorely remembered for a very, very long time.
One of THE best nights of my life
Great relevant storyline - really good dancing singing acting loved it 💕
Very good Music a bit too loud Couldn’t hear all the singing
Great night at the theater...a bit disappointed Michelle Visage was not on this performance but her understudy was great! Such a talented bunch of young actors!
I saw the show back in April and it was just as brilliant the second time. It's funny, upsetting and inspiring. It's not just a show for people who love drag it's about learning to embrace who you are and live your life how you want to live it. I would recommend this show to anyone.
Loved it. Riveting from beginning to end. Moving, brought me to tears.
