Everybody's Talking About Jamie tickets
Inspired by a true story, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is the hit musical for today.
Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. He is going to be a sensation. Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.
Layton Williams, Melissa Jacques, Sejal Keshwala and Sabrina Sandhu are joined by EastEnders’ star Rita Simons as Miss Hedge with Phil Nichol returning to play Hugo/Loco Chanelle. They lead a twenty-five strong company and a nine-piece band that will ‘sweep you away on a tide of mischief, warmth and exuberance’ (Financial Times).
With ‘songs that have the wow factor’ (The Times) by lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells, and ‘hilarious’ book and lyrics ‘with delightful punch’ (Whatsonstage), by writer Tom MacRae, this funny, fabulous, feel-good, musical sensation has been wowing audiences and critics alike.

Saw this show on Saturday with a friend and we both really enjoyed the show. it was brilliantly done, the cast are amazing with some amazing voices that makes your hair stand up!! Good story line and quite meaningful and deep and lots of people can relate to being on the outside, you dont have to be gay to enjoy this show, well done to everyone in the show.
Hilarious comedy ,funny , heart rendering. Fantastic cast , great songs. If you’re considering booking this ,don’t hesitate this is the best show we have seen! Already booking to watch again in May in Bristol. Just the best !
These young actors will go on to better things. Diversity was shown in its true light, and showed by the language on display. Jamie's fathers attitude all too real in today's society regarding parental responsibility. If you wanted a serious show on today's moral issues, it would last for days and need constant substitutions of the cast. But yes......we thought it was great.
Extravagant, moving , joyous musical. Such talented youngsters who shone.
Thoroughly enjoyed this show, very upbeat, foot tapping. Actors really looked like they were enjoying themselves. Well done everyone 👏
We absolutely LOVED Jamie. From start to finish. Worth every penny ! Jamie, his mother, Pritti and one of the other girls clearly adores dancing. She smiled every minute of the performance. Funny, emotional, clever, thought-provoking. Everyone should see it.
Could not prasie the show! theatre! staff! (especially Clare? the Theatre Manager) who went above and beyond after a slight hiccup occured) performance highly enough! I was totally blown away by the emotion the show evoked and the sheer passion shown by all the performers in telling the story Loved every minutue and be coming back!!!
The play could be so much more about the drag queen act. It could have been playful and cheerful. Instead it swelled on teenagers problems about their sense of being.
Loved it!
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great story at times emotional. The cast were well chosen and very good in their roles. Would see it again.
One of the best things i have seen on stage bloody brilliant funny and emotional .. a must see!!
A fabulous show and performances from all. Outstanding JAMIE. All emotions ticked and wholly recommended for all to see.
A modern play covering age-old problems. Well presented. Lively and enjoyable with comedy and pathos. I would recommend it. There were a lot of young people in the audience who were very appreciative of the content of the play and of it's delivery.
I took my daughter for her 16th birthday and the whole experience couldn’t have been more perfect. The performances were flawless and the show has such heart. I feel like the messages that are so beautifully woven throughout, with the perfect balance of humour and genuine sincerity are powerful at any age, but for a young person growing up facing the challenges of independence and increasing self awareness, they are vital. The audience was on their feet by the end, everyone had such a great time...., this was definitely one of the best shows I have seen and really hope we can see it again sometime. Thankyou for an unforgettable evening!
This is my 5th time watching Jamie and I absolutely love this show it has just everything and more 2 more dates planned too this year cannot rate this show enough
Brilliant show. Definitely up there with all the top shows. We absolutely loved it.
Really captures the period around GCSEs and teens finding themselves - friendships, being and loving yourself and setting your sights on what you want to be. Great cast, great music and dancing and a great experience all round
Excellent show based on a true story. Good acting, dancing and vocals. You laugh and you are moved by social issues. I’ve seen it twice.
Simply amazing!!
My 4th time watching this amazing show last night and as always what a show !!!! Fantastic from start to finish Layton Williams is class as Jamie and Faye Tozia was awesome in her last show !! Year 11’s were fantastic as always and always enjoy Prittis solo simply mind blowing This show has just EVERYTHING and more cannot wait to watch it again
Excellent show
The show was totally amazing from start to finish. Songs were sung with enthusiasm. We loved each and every actor from the main star to the Y11's. Everyone gave their best performance. There is a bit of bad language but in the context of the show it works and needs to be part of it. Also its the type of language that students use at school. We didn't mind it. However if you are offended by bad language don't come
Thoroughly recommend this show. The acting, dancing, singing is just brilliant. Funny, sad in parts and based on a true story. Absolutely loved it.
So hard to pick out any one person for there performance, as there was so many great actors. Loved the show.
Saw this yesterday and loved it. Took my children age 10 and 12. There is swearing so if this bothers you don’t take kids. Singing was amazing. Modern and relevant story. Great acting. Made me laugh out loud and cry. Recommend 5 stars!!
We are still telling our friends how great this show is. Cast were brilliant. Story line sympathetically told.
Don’t get me wrong it was funny and the actors were great but it was slightly overrated. The story was patchy and the singing wasn’t the best. Also the view was slightly restricted although seats didn’t say that. I’ve seen lots of London shows and whilst I enjoyed this it wasn’t in my top ten.
Fun show with lots of laughs! Very talented cast!
This musical was one of the best my friends and I have ever seen. The music was great and we could hear every word of the songs therefore the storyline was clear
A great fun show with lots of singing and dancing tinged with a bit of sadness but so well dobe. Leads are great. Well worth a visit.
Excellent show. Brilliant dancing.
Funny, moving & spectacular. Great audience participation made for a fabulous show.
Wonderful show
This show wasn’t really on my list, but my daughter’s favourite drag queen was in it until the end of June so I thought I’d treat her! Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved it! A musical that has everything! We laughed, cried, whooped and cheered! A super talented cast that truly deserved the standing ovation! I would happily sit through it again and again! A must see show!!!
Fabulous amazing emotional incredible!!! What more can I say. Cast were just brilliant, songs and singing first class. I must see before it finishes 👏🏼👏🏼😘
Fantastic show - great cast. Lead was amazing!
The show was up lifting, funny, sad,a must see, singing voices were amazingxxxx
Went to see as part of a birthday celebration and we absolutely loved this show, would highly recommend!
Amazing show start to finish 10/10. Beautiful theatre and every seat is a good view. Layton absolutely had me engaged at every moment, such a fun filled show with an amazing cast and an amazing touching story. Highly recommend.
From start to finish this show is am-az-ing!!! A serious message but given the west end sprinkle of magic!!
A fantastic show! Really enjoyed it!
From start to finish the show had me totally gripped ! The way everyone portrayed their characters to present the show was just amazing !! No matter if you like Theatre shows or not , the show is for everyone (not for kids though)! The jokes through out were hilarious !! The story line touches everyone. It had me in tears of laughter and tears of sadness ! It was just incredible!!
So so good reflects everyday problems that occur within the diversity that we live in . Fabulous singing totally enjoyable .
Feel good show that just makes you smile. Great songs and performed wonderfully.
The view is partially restricted as advised on the website. The very far left part of the stage is not visible, but that did not ruin the show overall. Good value for money!
Amazing show !!! I would recommend it to anyone and I have !! I can’t wait to go and see it again !!!
Didn't know too much about the show before we went. Thoroughly enjoyed it. A real feel good show with some poignant moments and an important message. Would definitely recommend it. Probably not suitable for under 10s.
Thoroughly enjoyed it! Layton Williams as Jamie is AMAZING! He is sooooo talented! Fantastic show & highly recommend it
Such a spirited and fun show with a balance between glitz and glitter, and sensitivity towards a serious theme. My only criticism might be the quality of sound. At times, it was difficult to hear the words spoken; acoustics were quite strange.
Wonderfully energetic, emotional & enlightening. An insight into a young mans journey. Tha cast were truly fantastic. Hugely talented. Woukd happily see the show again.
