  There isn't any doubt that the dancers are talented but the choreography felt disjointed with different lands coming on like a conveyer belt rather than a journey for the main characters. The scenary we could see was beautiful and there were some very clever ideas. However it was, overall, a little disappointing .

  Beside the well-know and beautiful Tchaikovsky's masterpiece, very well played and danced, I really appreciate and enjoyed the choreography and the scenic design. They were able to create a special atmosphere. I have seen the Nutcracker before but this production is the best one so far. A "must-see", simply enchanting.

  Went to see The Nutcracker with a friend shortly after Christmas: excellent ballet performance with great costumes and stage bringing to life a winter-wonderland-dream world echoing the girly wish to be a princess. Precisely what we needed after Christmas.

  I bought the tickets for my granddaughters who attend ballet lessons every week. the youngest is only 5 years old. They were spellbound throughout the entire performance. The visit exceeded the expectations! Congratulations on providing a great experience.

  Although the dancers were obviously skilled it just didn't move in the way ballet usually does. My son fell asleep in the first act.

  Utterly brilliant performance, from the secure accompaniment of the Orchestra under my old friend Gerry Cornelious, to the sharp and precise choreography. My six year old son was transfixed from start to finish, Bravo!

  Great show. Really magical and could have watched all night. But who was performing? The programme provided lots of profiles on many dancers but I could not find one of them who was performing. Looks like the reserve team was out last night and I will never know who they were. Pity. So could we have a programme next time that actually profiles the dancers we are watching?

  This is our families annual treat and despite knowing the story the ballet never fails to delight. It's festive in its story and the dancers are so accomplished and the music so beautiful I would highly recommend it to all but very young children as it is long.

  I have seen many shows in many theatres but I can only compare the brilliance of The Nutcracker to Kevin Spacey's Clarence Darrow in The Old Vic in 2014. The Nutcracker however was the most visually appealing two hours of my life! Thank you to all involved for making my Christmas. Chris Harold

  Even though was in the upper circle still had a brilliant view seat was comfy, show was brilliant really enjoyed it my first time at a ballet and will certainly not be my last , Next year will be taking my other family members to enjoy was a great afternoon

  An absolutely stunning production. I brought my daughter for her 21st birthday treat and it was our first viewing of the Nutcracker and first visit to the Coliseum. We loved everything about the place and the ballet, lovely memories to treasure, thank you.

  A lovely way to end a Christmas trip to London. There is something very magical about the Nutcracker at Christmas time. The story, the skill and grace of the awesome dancers and tunes that many will recognise.

  This was, without question, the best performance of the Nutcracker I have seen. The young dancers were charming , confident and skilled bringing fun and lovely touches to the production. However, the magical sparkle of the soloists was breathtaking. The combination of the different dances kept the audience captivated with the most wonderful finale bringing this delightful production to a close. Bravo!

  A wonderful performance! The dancing was superb. We took our 8year old granddaughter to see her first ballet and she was enthralled. She knew the story well and it made the whole thing come to life. We can't wait to go again! Thank you for a fantastic experience.

  Went to see The Nutcracker matinee, music fabulous, dancing fabulous, sets fabulous. We had cheap seats in the balcony, but had a perfect view, well worth it. I loved it. Go if you can.

  A fabulously entertaining and beautiful production! All the dancers were amazing right from the little ones to the older, more experienced. If you love ballet (or even if you don't) you can't fail to enjoy 2+ hours of pure talent. Loved every second.......

  My first ballet. The choreography was fantastic as was the set and costumes. The Royal ballet are consummate performers and the leads were wonderful. It enthralled me.

  The play and performance of the dancers were funny, impressive and inspiring. The music was better than average, but could do with a larger orchestra and some depth.
