Amanda Holden stars in the stellar cast of Stepping Out, a wonderful and heart-warming comedy.

In an attempt to tap away their troubles, seven women and one man join a weekly dancing class. After a shaky start, the group is barely getting to grip with the basics when they are asked to participate in a charity gala…

Each member of the group has a story to tell, from haughty Vera, mouthy Maxine and uptight Andy to bubbly Sylvia and shy Dorothy; eager Lynne and cheerful Rose and, of course, Geoffrey.

Directed by triple Olivier Award winner Maria Friedman, the cast also includes Angela Griffin, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Nicola Stephenson and Tamzin Outhwaite.
Stepping Out won the Evening Standard Comedy of the Year Award, 1984 and was also made into a musical which became a film in 1991, starring Julie Walters and Liza Minnelli.

'Amanda Holden serves up comedy gold in this foot-tapping treat. Tracy Ann Oberman, Lesley Vicarage, Judith Barker ...terrific, Anna Jane Casey supreme' - Daily Telegraph

'Maria Friedman's glorious production. Britain's Got Talent and then some. Fabulous.' - Daily Express

'Golden Holden commands the stage. Amanda Holden...every inch the leading lady. A production crammed full of hilarious eighties gags and fabulously over the top outfits.' - The Sun
