Horrible Histories - The Best of Barmy Britain reviews
My 8-year old enjoyed it and learned a lot without realizing it. Me, too!
Fantastic venue, fantastic show.
I realy enjoyed it one of the best plays ever and I gave seen3 other horrible histories fantastic kian age 11
My 9 yr old daughter is a big fan of HH and she loved the show.
Brilliantly written, incredibly funny and perfect for kids and adults. My 8yr old and 10yr old throughly enjoyed it (as did I). The two actors were amazing.
Went along to this show with a 7 year old and 4 adults! We were all roaring with laughter within minutes. Really enjoyed it lots of fun for young and old and lots of history absorbed by the 7 year old. Thank you for a fun hour did not want it to end. Throughly recommend!
We went to see the show after a friend recommended it. We couldn't have been more happy with the awesomely funny performance that had everyone joining in and laughing. The actors were engaging and entertaining. It is a cheap theater day out compared to other west end shows, but offers the best value by far. I would strongly recommend this for families!
Not only did I laugh at the performers' jokes but also I laughed at my grandsons laughing at the performers jokes. Many extremely funny moments and we all loved King John.
Jenny and I laughed from beginning to end, great performance
I took my two children (5 and 6) who love the series, and they had a great time. The actor(tress) made the show, there enthusiasm kept them interested all the way through. Adult humour thrown in too, I enjoyed the show also!
High energy, lots of jokes and they manage to teach you a thing or two as well. My kids loved it and I enjoyed it too. Highly recommended!
Had a really good time watching the show! The two people performing were so funny and it was very inclusive of the audience. We also found it very educational!! The actors also included jokes that children wouldn't understand to do with politics and current affairs.
We feel completely misguided as to the appropriateness of this show. It was a complete and utter waste of time and money and ruined what was supposed to be a a very special family outing. We will not trust this organisation again!
Great performance but as we had already seen the Terrible Tudors at Hampton Court, we realised that a fair chunk of this show was just a replay of the other one. I expected something entirely new with a greater emphasis on Victorian Britain. The acting and comedy is still great value and would highly recommend.
It was very interactive for my kids, funny and well thought out.
Not only my son but I also thoroughly enjoyed the show and was laughing throughout! The performers had such exuberance, enthusiasm and energy and not to mention lots and lots of jokes! highly recommended to all!
Best children's entertainment I have seen. Took my 8 year old grandson and we laughed all the way through. The 2 actors were really talented, able to take on any role and accent. Love the up to date bits about Brexit.
The girls had an amazing time. Marnie was thrilled to be invited up on stage. The actors were engaging and innovative with their characters and transitions.
It was amazing how only 2 people could keep an audience entertained for an hour. Brilliant family show, my 8yr old son loved it.
Excellent for both children and adults. Fun learning in an entertaining way- even at 10 am! My 10 year old enjoyed the current political jokes and the songs are catchy indeed.
Brilliant show, catchy songs, a fun way to learn history
