The smash hit musical The Bodyguard returns to London’s West End starring the Queen of British Soul Beverley Knight.

Based on the box office-busting film starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, The Bodyguard tells the story of superstar singer Rachel Marron and the dangerous side to her celebrity. Pursued by a violent stalker, Rachel employs bodyguard Frank Farmer to ensure her and her family’s safety. As Frank and Rachel battle each other to take charge, and battle Rachel’s stalker to stay safe, the pair come to realise that their relationship is something more than just professional.

A romantic thriller bristling with suspense and emotion, this stunning theatrical reimagining of the film is peppered with some of Houston’s best-loved hits, including ‘I Have Nothing’, ‘Run to You’, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ and the unforgettable ‘I Will Always Love You’. Featuring spectacular staging, incredible set designs and costumes and the supremely talented Beverley Knight as Rachel Marron, the award-winning The Bodyguard is the hottest musical in town.

I enjoyed every minute of it. I particularly liked the way it started and the effects. They even had the audience on their feet dancing at the end. The understudy deserves more recognition on the adverts as she was fantastic. I recommend this to anyone and it was worth every penny.
