Play was absolutely amazing! 100% recommend. Well done to all involved for working so hard and creating a masterpiece! It was also a please to get a hug off Matt smith! But be sure to take an umbrella... They like to spit. I got showered in the front row centre

I hadn't been to the Royal Court theatre before but thought it was a really good venue. There was lots of space in the bar and the food looked good. The location was great, right by the tube station. The play was good apart from being blinded by a spotlight for many scenes in the first half. The crew obviously noticed and remedied the problem for the second half. The acting was, on the whole, fantastic but Jonjo O'Neill stole the show for me although I thought Tamara Lawrance was brilliant and will look out for her in other things. The play was really funny as well. I highly recommend it.

Unreachable was an joyful experience from beginning to end. It's an edgy play and the cast were, without exception, impeccable and had a great rapport between them. It was an incredibly funny play, engaging throughout and the most magical and poignant ending I've ever witnessed. A triumph and a must see in my opinion.

In all honesty we came to see Matt Smith as he is a great on stage actor ( which indeed he was ) . We were blown away by the play itself and how the whole company made this compelling viewing . The humour was totally unexpected, side aching in parts and the plays' conclusion was both emotional and tear jerking ! Superb entertainment !!

Also curiosty brought me to see Unreachable because of Matt Smith first. Il wlantted to see the 11th doctor acting and I never went to this theatre, far from West end. In fact the whole cast is amazing, they really love to be on stage and the gamelle is obvious between them and the assistance. The play is funny, astonishing. A very good time indeed.

Being a foreigner I pride myself in having pretty good knowledge of English language but this play made it very hard for me to understand everything (never had such problems, even when watching Shakespeare). Not sure if it's because I was sitting quite far away, because the actors talked extremely fast or because the jokes were intellectually superior. Probably all of the above. The story has potential, the climax is a bit disappointing. Actors are good throughout apart from the Mickey Mouse voice of the main character which I found very disturbing. Worth going there if tickets are on offer but worth paying more than £20? I would say no.

It was funny, energetic and well acted. Normally I get very involved in a story I'm watching but there was something disjointed that kept bringing me out. Perhaps it was the cast giggling or the breaking of the fourth wall. The ending was massively sudden and perhaps needed something more. Very pretty ending and very funny but I can't put my finger at what was lacking. Perhaps it was the light.

I have to admit I went because of Matt Smith. And he was brilliant so was the rest of the cast. Sometimes boundaries were pushed, and it was hard to decide how much was spontaneous or rehearsed in some situations. It was funny, sometimes probably a bit offensive, but you could totally relate. Brilliant casting, Highly recommend

It was great to see such a committed piece of theatre where the performances were real yet theatrical at the same time. Edgy, interesting writing. A very engaging & funny experience.

Myself and my daughter had a highly entertaining evening last night at Unreachable. We went to see Matt Smith, who was completely mesmeric in his inimitable "Matt Smith" way, but we have to say all the other characters were equally strong and the chemistry excellent (well done to the Casting Director!). The humour and slightly slapstick 'silliness' was cleverly intertwined with a much deeper, far-reaching subject and message - very difficult to achieve. The final scene was breath-taking (and the only downer on otherwise magical evening was the appearance of a fox on set which we found very difficult to watch, seeing it frightened and a on a lead just before thunderous applause and presumably otherwise caged on a stifling evening. Somehow the final scene also didn't need it anyway). Otherwise brilliantly executed, an unforgettable evening.

I really funny show. The actors were very much an ensemble and they worked off each other well. Although it was laugh out loud funny that didn't mean it didn't leave you thinking. It was also an examination of the human condition, dreams, desires and how far you go to achieve the. In addition there was reference to human fragility and how we can become damaged and in turn damage others. I really enjoyed the show, innovative direction and set design and a beautiful and sad ending scene. I would recommend it.

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful play, ridiculously hilarious I couldn't stop laughing. Love the wittiness of actors. They had great chemistry! Ending was strange and completely different than the rest of the play. There was a fox on stage!! Where the heck does the fox fit in?! I completely recommend the play. For the price you pay its an absolute winner!

This is the first time I have booked tickets for a play before it was written so I went with trepidation as I didn't know what to expect but quickly found I was in for a treat. After a slow start the comedy builds until the audience is fully on board for an evening of hilarity as the story unfolds of a film director (Matt Smith) finds different ways to slow down production until he finds the perfect light. The cast was superb and I went to see Smith (who was as good as expected with a talent for comedy I think) but the real highlight was Jonjo O'Neill whose portrayal of Ivan was so hilarious that even the rest of the cast struggled to contain their selves. I thoroughly recommend this for an enjoyable evening's entertainment and will be looking out for other plays by this writer in the future. A quick note though, there is some very adult humour so not one to take your children to..

Rare to see a new play engaging head-on with the spiritual trauma of its characters but this, to my mind, is what Anthony Neilson's new play 'Unreachable' does with subtlety, humour and unfolding theatrical brilliance. As the director searching for 'the perfect light', Matt Smith suggests profound inner trauma in every bodily movement and strained verbal exchange. I like the way each character was constantly surprised when another made an entrance, as if each new entrance was an intrusion into their psychic space. It was fun seeing the actors occasionally reading from scripts as Neilson had explained before curtain-up he'd only written/rewritten new scenes a few hours before. A certain amount of corpsing and misreadings only added to the extemporaneous fun. But this play is a remarkable achievement with a virtuosic and scene-stealing performance from Johnjo O'Neil as Ivan and excellent support from a gifted cast. Ivan's ego-centric tirades and anxieties were hilarious and only too recognisable. I guess the play is ground-breaking in its searching and entertaining exploration of profound spiritual needs within the fractious and fragile setting of a film crew on location but it manages to cover so much more: the politics of professional relationships under stress, the politics of creativity itself, and, beneath all of that, an inexpressible longing for something more. The final tableau brings it all into focus and is as moving as it is visually beautiful.

Captivating, thought provoking, witty, charming and hilarious - the show was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Excellent writing and superb performances from the cast. We saw a preview and the actors were clearly working with extremely new material, but the authenticity of the show was not even slightly diminished. In fact, it felt like a privilege to see the play evolving in front of our eyes - a valuable reminder that theatre is a living art. Loved it, thank you!
