  It was a treat for me and my daughter who is a ballerina to watch SwanLake and though Natalia Matsak was brilliant we couldn't see Irena's performance, next time maybe the tickets should mention the name of the lead performers

  Not Ballet fans particularly but we gave it a try and thoroughly enjoyed it. The dancing was very beautiful and as far as our ignorance knew was perfect! The agility of the dancers amazed us. The set and costumes were also very beautiful. The Coliseum is a lovely theatre. A little warm but good seating and polite staff. All round a lovely experience!

  This was a rather flat performance. The orchestra was jarring and often discordant. Overall it was dull. The leading man could just about leap but compared to Acosta and the like lacked spark, élan, let alone sex appeal. It was lovely to see so many youngsters amongst the matinee audience.

  I took my 18 year old grand-daughter who has done some ballet and dancing herself but never been to see one. I saw Swan Lake earlier this year. It was a wonderful performance and whilst my grand-daughter noted a couple of technical errors she and I found it a brilliant performance and made for a wonderful afternoon out. The whole performance with the dancing, the acting, the music and the scenery made it a five star performance. Worth every penny of the £60 seats in the stalls

  I loved the play. I will recommend to see it. HOWEVER I NEED TO RAISE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE TICKETS I booked the tickets online, choosing nice seats and we were moved! The company sold the tickets to us and another couple and we were asked to moved! It seems that the company Ingresso allocated us different seats from the chosen ones without letting us know and of course they were worse

  The ballet was very beautiful, with fluid movements and creative thinking on different scenes. The Russian influence really shows from the type of movements, costumes and colours used. Refreshing to see, just a tad bit disappointing with the ending, as I would have preferred a more tragic ending.

  This was the first time I have seen swan lake Perform Live. Was not disappointed . Beautifully staged and danced superbly. The coliseum is a lovely venue. A great night out

  Beautiful show - absolutely stunning. I have been to the ballet before, but this was the best that I have seen. Some key moments were ruined, however, by the people in front of us taking photos on their phone. They did it continuously throughout the show until we asked them to stop. It wasn't just them either, we saw lots of people taking photos which was very distracting and really disrespectful.

  I've never been to the ballet before, so from a post vergins perspective I'd say it was a nice way to get my cherry popped, the music was beautiful, the crowd was respectful, the dance was... Half obscured by a pillar, but the half I saw was nice. I did feel the prince didn't do much but wave his arms while walking from one side of the stage to the other. The lady was very graceful she really held her self and moved like a bird. The backing dancers performances were my personal favourite and I really enjoyed the Jester.

  A beautiful ballet which was absolutely pefect. I took my daughter and even though we were up in the Balcony it was entrancing. An amazing 3 hours.

  Swan Lake is one of the most beautiful ballet performances but last night it seemed even more breathtaking. The 2 lead performers were amazing, they literally floated across the stage. I couldn't take my eyes off the them. Definitely worth going to see

  It was obsolutely beautiful performance. It was a real treat. The performers were great and the colours were stunning. The choreography liaised with the music. It was a real treat to eyes and ears.

  Stunning performances, truly inspiring for my daughter, who is hoping to be performing with a ballet company herself in the next 2-4 years time. The swans were just mesmerising. Would love to watch it all over again.

  This is a wooden, dated production, which lacked excitement and passion. The leader dancer was not performing and the substitute was mediocre. This is a ballet that should fizz with drama and strength. What a pity it did not deliver. The chorus was wonderful and saved the evening.

  I have never watched or seen something beautiful things like swan lake i wish i could clap my hand from the beginning till the end the moments i watched swan lake was taking my breath away. This is the one you should watch in your life.

  I have only been to a ballet once before and didn't really enjoy it. Swan lake was amazing we were all speechless watching. It was simply brilliant.

  This was my first ever visit to the ballet and I have never been so mesmerised by anything in my life. Every scene, dance and song was performed with such perfection. Though every dancer was wonderful you could see why Irina Kolesnikova was the star!! I got goosebumps every time she came onto the stage. Highly recommended! !

  I have seen a lot of Swan Lakes and this one was one of the best. Irina Kolesnikova's technique and acting were fantastic. All dancers were very musical. Beautiful production. Russian Swan Lake at it's best. I would recommend it to everybody. Lately it's hard to find good ballet and I was often disapointed and sad. But this one made me so happy and inspired. This production really touched me. You need to go and see it! Orchestra was great too.

  Total silence in a packed house speaks volumes about this magical ballet which was beautifully performed by all of this ensemble. The male dancers in the very first act could perhaps do with honing their choreography skills to be in time with each other, but did nothing to detract from the performance. The jester was amazing, as were the pirouets and spins performed by the leading dancers. The female ensemble were faultless and one could only look on in amazement at their performance of grace, elegance and amazing dance control - to the point where it was easy to believe they really were swans! If you would like to feel transported into another world for a few hours, then I highly recommend that you go to see this Ballet.

  I hadn't seen swan lake since I was a child so was very excited to see it again. I thought the performance was brilliant. The music and dancing was captivating. Still remains my favourite ballet thank you :)

  Venue - we went for the upper circle (didn't want to spend money to nap). It was hot for the mid-August show, luckily the water was available at bar at intermissions (yes plural, two intermissions). Interpretation of Storyline - like Disney: family tries to wed off the price, he doesn't find a suitable lady friend, he wonders off, finds girl, falls in love, she's cursed, he's heart broken, I think the curse is lifted and everyone is happy. Performance - there are lots of dancers, 30 plus I think. The majority are in sync (more than moulin rouge let's say), the men are not impressive but I don't know what's a difficult or not, the lead was impressive with her holding still during a move. She was rail thin and little curious what her 450 calorie diet is like? She was worth the price of admission. Orchestra - amazing. Do like those string instruments. Overall - might be persuaded to go to a the nut cracker and didn't get my nap in so I'm a little tired.

  Brilliant performance. Russian dancers and orchestra. This what the soul and heart of the people should be not nationalism. Irina is magnificent. Being in heaven in the balcony the sound was good. The seat was cheap at £15 but it was nice to see the performance in the whole. Back started to ache towards the end . Angle of seats jarring.
