It started as a hit song by ABBA, then it became a musical, and now it’s a phenomenon. MAMMA MIA! first premiered in London and has since been seen by tens of millions of people across the globe.
Set on a Greek island, the musical MAMMA MIA! tells the story of Sophie, a bride-to-be who wants nothing more than her unknown father to walk her down the aisle. So, she invites three of her fiercely independent mother’s ex-lovers to her wedding in a move that could make or break her special day.
ABBA classics such as ‘Dancing Queen’ and ‘Take a Chance on Me’ are woven into an original narrative that is funny and ironic, occasionally cheeky and unapologetically optimistic.
MAMMA MIA! is beloved by the world. With a striking number of audience members seeing it two, three and even four times, at any moment this West End triumph is playing on at least three continents.
Now playing at the Novello Theatre in London, there has never been a better time to buy your tickets to this uplifting show.

What a fantastic show! I had seen the show years ago but it was just as enjoyable 2nd round. My 2 children absolutely loved the songs and story (both had seen the film). My 8 year old daughter sung her heart out, danced as well as she could in her chair and acted out playing the musical instruments....she already wants to go and see it again. Definitely recommend this show!!
The show was outstanding, theatre is absolutely beautiful, we had restricted view and leg room seats, leg room was awful, as this was all we could afford then it had to be. It was my daughters 18th birthday and she loved it. Cast were amazing.
I have seen this show 15 times, it’s brilliant , so well done, it’s funny in parts , the singing is outstanding , if you love ABBA music it’s a must I am dreading it when they say they’re going to finish the show Hopefully It will continue for a long time to come
One of the best shows in London. Had all the top songs, and easy to follow story line. Some beautiful voices too. Seemed we'd hardly sat down when it had finished. Absolutely brilliant
The cast along with the musicians & tech team were fabulous!
Excellent show very enjoying and got your feet tapping
Attended with my grandchildren who enjoyed every moment of the show. What can I say, it was spectacular. There was such an atmosphere especially at the end of the show when everyone was dancing to the music of ABBA. I highly recommend it. Not to be missed
What an amazing show. My three girls and I absolutely enjoyed every minute. Definitely see again.
My daughters birthday treat.. What an amazing show from start to finish.. Definitely recommend
Average performance. Not something extradinary.
Spectacular! the best musical show ever
Loved the show! Had only seen the movies and never the show so this was an added bonus.
We were in the Grand Circle row G seats 4 & 5. We had a good view of everything on stage. Only had to lean forward twice to see the edge of the stage when the only actors were in that area. If we hadn't leaned forward it wouldn't have affected our evening at all. We heard everything, loud and clear. Fabulous evening. Thoroughly recommend this show.
Mamma Mia was amazing. The acting and singing was incredible. I would highly recommend this musical.
Fantastic performance from start to finish
Just a great, feel good and well performed show. Loved it!
A truly amazing show as a family our 5 year old was mesmerised. Thank you to the cast
A wonderful performance! A night to remember! Not only did the show brilliantly showcase the music of ABBA but the exuberant and energetic performance took it to another level. Sheer joy, a night to forget your worries !
I would recommend to anyone which has never seen the show.
Fantastic show in a wonderful setting- staff were superb- the 3 of us had a great night
The voices were fantastic and the dance routines thorougly enjoyed it only thing if I were to criticise was the mild swearing as I thought it was suitable for 6 year olds and up. See it three times now but dont remember swearing last time. I did enjoy it very much though my advice to anyone dont miss it.
