My wife and I traveled to London for the weekend to watch the Lion king, we very happy we traveled that far because it was an absolutely brilliant show, and we would definitely recommend people to go and see it in the London theatre.
An outstanding performance all round, with particular mention of the boy who played young Simba. A la Warhorse the animals were brilliant with their movements and some of the singing was sensational. This from someone who is NOT a musicals fan as a general rule!
Very good and exciting performance, perhaps the hyenas singing could be a bit clearer. But a fantastic evening. I do however feel that there should be an age limit on the children attending an evening performance, a 5/6 year old in front of us, caused a lot of issues as soon bored and tired
What an amazing show.. Everything about it was fantastic; the set, the music, the dance, costumes. Would definitely pay to watch it again!
This show was a treat for my boyfriend for Christmas. I had never watched the film/show and it was easy to follow. It was also appropriate for all ages - addressing the children at times with understandable humour but also at times, jokes which adults would only appreciate. The actors were very professional and the production was very good.
The best musical I have ever seen! Couldn’t take my eyes off the scene, the actors were simply great, decorations outstanding! Definitely recommend it for everyone!
Fantastic show, great effects and props. Obviously great music and well delivered. Thought the orchestra was brilliant. Lyceum is certainly the best theatre we have been to. Overall fantastic event. Front of house team were very good, friendly while remaining observant.
If you love lion king you will love this performance. Cast are fabulous at telling the story with the occasional modern joke. Its family friendly and just an amazing evening. Would definitely recommend
Muito emocionante, um musical impecável.
Everything was really well done. The actors, the music, the scene... everything. I really enjoyed and I definitely recommend to everyone
A superb evening from start to finish. A little piece of magic. Can’t praise it enough. Very helpful and smiley staff too. Well done everyone involved.
it was totally amazing
Best show going period.
It is a show you must see in a lifetime. I burst into tears during 'They live in you' song performance, this is how powerful it is.
Very good. Worth seeing. The staging and effects were excellent. As a family we were really pleased.
Absoulty breath taking.. First time ever been to see a musical and cannot imagine any other how any other shows could measure up. Experience from start to finish first class. Will defiantly be coming down to see it again.
Brilliant, funny and colourful
I was in awe watching’The Lion King’ the scenery was vibrant alive and artistic I absolutely loved the elephant such a shame he came on stage only once.. I was convinced I would have seen him at the end. That was my only disappointment. ( Have to be honest...
What a truly magnificent show we adults and our 3 young grandchildren absolutely loved the whole show Thank you
The show was amazing
Great show The effects were amazing Great songs and characteristics Truely brilliant
Perfect for family and friend would definitely recommend
I have never see such an amazing performance. Music decoration singing and dance were amazing.
It’s not that much ... less than average poor decoration ... no efforts no dazzling at all al so no creativity
Travelled to London from South Wales for wife's birthday to see lion king .the show and theatre were both superb .
Absolutely fantastic, 1st time I've ever seen a musical and it exceeded my expectations.
Fantastic performance, amazing costumes, great puppetry we were all so impressed.
Incredible. The visual effects, costumes and stage props used create such an amazing show that will leave you amazed and gasping like a child!
Amazing!! Music, the talented singers, theathre and the props plus sticking to the original story completely!
We all loved the show on different levels, Grandparents, parents and children 7 and 10. The costumes, puppetry and the characters arrival through the stalls was amazing.. we had an end of row seat... the children loved it.
Amazing show. Talented, exciting and incredible everything
I saw Lion King when I brought a group of students to London. I was left feeling a little guilty that on that occasion I had seen the show without my wife. Two years later I fulfilled my promise to take her. She cried several times and loved the show, a memory neither of us will forget.
Just all so good must go again in the future, tell everyone how fantastic it all was from start to finish....Will
Watched the Lion King with family last night and even though I have seen it three times before it was still an amazing show
As a family (ages 13, 16, 19, 47, 52)we all enjoyed this show immensely. The costumes are beautiful, the choreography was excellent. It truly was an awesome experience.
Brilliant show. Best one yet x
Just the best thing we’ve seen! Our children (4 and 6) were mesmerised, and we were too. It’s a must see.
My son is 4 years old. I recommend the show for 6 years up. 2,5 hours are a little bit tiring for a toddler. Amazing show however
Having seen the Lion King with my granddaughter at half term in October and thought it was brilliant I paid for my grandsons and family to go to the matinee performance on NY day They enjoyed it but thought Skar was weak so wondered if the part had been taken by the understudy? otherwise great success
All very good and enjoyable. What puzzled me however is that when I collected tickets from box office it stated £75 per ticket when In fact I paid £90 per ticket when I booked it. Any chance of a refund for the difference? Thank you
Still can’t believe I have waited this long to witness this masterpiece on stage... best dancers, best set, best seatings. I ll come back soon enough
I've waited years to come and watch The Lion King, I've past the adverts, heard the reviews etc The performance was absolutely amazing I had goose bumps from the opening song. Go and see it!!!
Obviously the show was fantastic, funny and beautifully brilliant. The cast are amazingly talented. The theatre was old and has what seemed like many original features which unfortunately includes the seats. Being designed for when the average person was 3ft 6’, no leg room and extremely hot.
Fantastic show. We have avoided going in the past due to the cost but now I can see it was worth every penny!
fantastic musical crowd interaction was fantastic music and cast
Bought thr ticket for my daughters 8th birthday honestly must say it was thf most enchanting beautiful and funny thing i have ever seenmy daughter has not stop talking about it and can recommend to any age..the performance zbd lighting and songs are out of yhis world...
The show was really impressive. It’s a must see just to see the costumes.
The actress playing Nala was absolutely amazing and Rafiki is always a favorite. Unfortunately Simba fell short for us and felt forced.
